Does anyone have an old torque link? 260.jpg

We have a cracked Torque Link.  There is a pair of these on the nose leg.  Slingsby is unable to supply parts despite the SB.  But they provided drawings dating back to the 1970s.  We had a replacement part manufactured to these drawings, but it's a mirror image of the one on the aircraft and is therefore incompatible with it.

We checked the rest of the T67M fleet at Seppe in the Netherlands and they are all consistently mirror images of the part in the drawings.  These mirror images were supplied by Slingsby between 1994 and 2005.  The spec of the part hasn't changed, presumably since the '70s.  So:

- If you need to manufacture a new torque link, either make two (at your cost), or check before making it that the other one on your plane is to spec. If it is a mirror image, either make two or you may be tempted to make one mirror image.....

- If you have an old torque link, would you check to see whether it matches the photo on this link:  : JC3SAW75  ( sorry - couldn't load it on this site) if it is, I may buy it from you (appropriately certified).

Assuming that we cant find a matching link we will have to get another made.  Extra time and extra cost.  I can get a larger batch made if you want to buy one (or a pair).  Contact me soon at ap<at>wallace2.com and I'll give you a price.
